It’s crushing to see a joke so nearly done right, then spoiled at the last moment by a mis-ordering of list items. This Panadol ad would work so much better if the “silly” feature was at the bottom of the list. Headache? Check. Backache? Check. Standing up the whole journey? Hahahaha. See? Lull them into thinking it’s a normal advert, then the gag is a little surprise and lands better. As a bonus, from a marketing perspective your key value prop is up-front too. There’s a reason comedy writers call it the “rule of three” @gsk @wpp ★★☆☆☆
